Neve & Rebekah
Hi! I’m Neve and I'm a second-year fine art student at the University of Lincoln. This module has been a wonderful opportunity to work and get to know and work with so many amazing people as well as people in my year who I may not have spoken to previously. Art for me is a super important part of my mental health journey and being able to share that has been an absolute pleasure. I have learnt so much about myself during this module and I also feel as though my art practice has begun to flourish even more by getting to know the wonderful people at turning point. I will be forever grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to see where it will take me!

I started the art course because it was something new and I wanted to challenge myself even though I knew I wasn't very good at art. I thought it would be good to try something different as I hadn't done any art since school. When we started the course it was daunting as we were told we could do whatever and I was so confused but when a plan came together I became invested and its such a coincidence that I was put together with Neve as we are both simular in approach to tasks. I have become invested in our creation together and feel that this course has helped me develop my personal skills too.
Thank you for the opportunity the students and Double Impact has given me.
