Founded in 2018, Fine Art students from the University of Lincoln (UK) will host their seventh unique exhibition showcasing works created in collaboration with individuals recovering from addiction. Titled “Groundings: Flower Moon - Growing passion”, the exhibition has been created by a group of second year Fine Art students, under the tutelage of Dr. Alice Bell, in partnership with Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership; helping to aid individuals with their recovery through the process of art making. The exhibition takes advantage of the unique collaboration between clients in recovery and the students. The University of Lincoln is the only university in the UK to offer an undergraduate Fine Art course that provides experience within the art therapy sector.

The name “Flower Moon - Growing Passion” was fabricated in one of our facilitation sessions, as we brainstormed as a collaborative group we landed on Flower Moon - Growing Passion, expressing the growth made and the love we have for the world around us and the nature we are surrounded by. The artworks in the exhibition will reflect this optimism and how their works connect with their emotional, physical and creative journeys.
