Hi I'm Carmen, This project has been so impactful and extremely moving, allowing for face to face social connection even through a technological wall.

I have always been fascinated in the big link between human interaction and performance art. My favourite medium, the project has allowed for me to understand human interaction a lot more and gain knowledge to take forward in my own work. Performance art has no dress rehearsal, poetic in the way it mirrors life, we can never prepare for the final piece but there is always a message behind everything. This project has solidified my belief in using art to make an impact and to make work that shows how you feel even at your most vulnerable.

The art of helping others is always so impactful and moving in the most beneficial way. This project has left a forever imprint and completely fulfilled my aspirations for this project. I wanted to honour those who have helped me in difficult times. Understanding how vital that support is, it was amazing to watch participants use art as a means of comfort and expression. Meeting so many people with amazing stories will shape me forever and continue to broaden my artistic creativity and thought process.
